Future Forces Forum is proud to support the EUDIS Defence Hackathon & Mentoring Programme – Spring 2026, hosted in the Czech Republic by the University of Defence and JIC.
The hackathon will take place 26 - 28 March 2026 in Brno and is part of a series of eight simultaneous defence hackathons across Europe aimed at strengthening the European defence innovation ecosystem.
Participants will work on real defence challenges focused on Defending Airspace, including:
- Cost-effective drone interceptors
- Next-generation drone detection systems
- Protection against airborne threats
The event brings together start-ups, researchers, students, engineers and defence experts to develop practical solutions for emerging security challenges and accelerate their path toward operational deployment.
Winning teams will gain access to a mentorship programme and EU-level pitching opportunities, while also connecting with key stakeholders from the European defence ecosystem.
